Bob Echidna by Pica Pau
Bob Echidna has two great loves in his life: his garden and his painting. Every day, before sunrise, he prepares his breakfast, plus a light one for later, while reviewing the day's tasks. Once the first light appears, he goes out to work his garden where he grows a wide variety of vegetables, greens and fruit trees. It's not a very large farm, but it's enough to satisfy his needs and and those of his small community. And that makes him very happy. After noon, he begins working on his second passion. He puts on his beret (his third love is collecting hats, but you'll probably never hear him admit it) and goes out to his garden again. But this time, instead of picking its fruits, he carefully observes its colors, its details, the light, the silhouettes that emerge in every corner of his garden, the chiaroscuros that he translates into careful brushstrokes that fill him with joy, the joy of painting. And yes, every single person in his town has at least one painting of Bob's happy little trees in their homes, and that makes him even happier.Materials:

For those who are new to Ami-Along, here's how it works!
Is this a one-time only Ami-Along?The Ami-Along is a monthly event! You can either become a member with the monthly subscription or participate in a single Ami-Along only at a slightly higher cost. Each Ami-Along will feature a new exclusive project by a different established amigurumi designer.
I'm rather new to amigurumi, can I do this?
We think everyone should be able to participate in the Ami-Along, which is why we choose patterns that are mid-level. The designer and your fellow crocheters are there to help you in the forum, so you'll have plenty of people who want to guide you through the process of creating this cute amigurumi.
How do I download the pattern?
After joining the Ami-Along, you will receive a confirmation email in the mailbox linked to your PayPal email address. This email will contain a direct download link as well as a link to the forum, where you can download the pattern PDF as well.
Will the pattern be available in other languages?
The pattern will only be available in US crochet terms.
Does the price include materials?
No, we do not supply materials for this Ami-Along.
Will it be a mystery CAL?
No, the full pattern will be available from the start, including pictures of the finished item and step-by-step pictures to guide you along the way.
How long will this Ami-Along be available?
This Ami-Along starts on the second Wednesday of the month (October 8) and will end on the second Monday of the month after (November 10). This means you have a full month to work on your amigurumi, so don't worry about joining a little later. The forum will remain available for 2 weeks after the closing date of the Ami-Along. If you've downloaded the pattern and saved it to your computer, you can of course continue crocheting at your own pace.
Can I share my progress on social media?
Sure you can! You can share your progress in the forum and on your own social media. There might even be a prize involved. ;) When posting on social media, you can use the hashtag #amialong, so we can find your post more easily.

No, you're free to participate if you like, or simply browse posts of others, or ignore the forum altogether.
How can I win one of the amazing prizes?
During each Ami-Along, we organize various small contests, where either the Amigurumi.com team or the designer draws a winner (randomly or by choice). For each Ami-Along, there will be an amazing prize for the designer’s favorite. You’ll discover how to win one of the other prizes in the 'Win!' thread on the forum.
My English is not great, is that a problem?
